Corporate Video Proposal

Below is my design for a corporate video proposal, and since this is my design portfolio, my works featured here would be of just that nature... I made this for the Public Works Department Malaysia. The proposed theme, DUHH! Blueprint.

Proposal COVER

A corporate video, acts as a promotional instrument for corporations to educate their audience by engaging them through a fab corporate video! That is where I come in. Their tagline "The Artery of Malaysias Development".

Notice the background or rather the layout of the designs. They are made to look like technical drawing  sheets, as it only makes sense... with the whole blueprint thing and all. This department has been around forever, so I see that its best for us to spruce up their image, and give it a younger and fresher feel to them.

Hence, the CG approach working hand in hand with creative camera angles and with the help of video cameras that are hooked up with prime lenses to give us that cool film-look. Featured below are some of the treatment in the 2nd act of the corporate video. Their latest accomplishments to date.

The Istana Negara.

The Istana Negara, or The Royal Palace of Malaysia. The first I call 'official' palace for the King of Malaysia, because the old one was a home of chinese steel magnate that was bought over by the government of Malaysia to install her King... then... Hence, a big deal for the people of Malaysia. And JKR was the organisation that made it all happen. Therefore, it is featured first in their corporate video.

The idea behind the three frame layout, is that it represents the angle on which the video is taken from. The top elevation, is actually aerial view... The gfx are 3D and rendered in wireframe, to give it the edgy look. And composed onto the layout. Giving it the look like an animated blue-print. There is no 3D animation as the only movement will be the camera that pans... from left to right...

The Film-look.

Here are some example of the film-look that I mentioned before...

Here is one, an example of the film-look that I mentioned before. Above is a picture taken from a documentary that I worked on of the Istana Negara. Notice the 'film-look'... It does not look like your typical video does it?

Below are some more examples of the 'film-look'.

This is another one taken from the Istana Negara documentary. This shot was taken with the macro fish-eye lenses. Notice the slight distortion that makes it look like a million bucks? Hahaha... If I may say so myself... :)

Here's another example. The depth of field effect that can be achieved is just heavenly. Below are other examples. All taken from the same documentary.

Some more of my gfx for your viewing pleasure.

Thanks for viewing!
